Tours Terms and Conditions

We recommend these Terms and Conditions to be read carefully and if anything is unclear, please discuss it with Moto Rent and Ride before signing a reservation form.

A reservation will only be confirmed on receipt of a completed reservation form and 30 % advance proof of payment. In this point, both Moto Rent and Ride and the customer have accepted and agreed these terms and conditions. Deposits can be made by bank transfer. The full tour cost must be paid to Moto Rent and Ride by the customer 60 days before the start of the tour. For reservations made less than 60 days before the start of the tour, the full payment must be made (if there are any slots available). Moto Rent and Ride offer guided tours for five riders or more. For these tours, a support vehicle will also be provided, which will transport riders’ luggage to the next hotel each day. We can also accept a maximum of two non-riders per tour to experience the itinerary from our van. For tours with less than five riders, the support vehicle will not be provided. If the support vehicle is unexpectedly not available for a guided tour, additional bags, cases and backpacks will be provided for riders to transport their own luggage on the motorcycle, and if customers have booked a non-rider place, Moto Rent and Ride will provide a full refund. Moto Rent and Ride also offers guided custom tours. Please contact us in order to set up the terms, itineraries and costs.

Moto Rent and Ride offers various models of motorcycle for use on its guided tours. We will make all the effort to provide the customer with the motorcycle of their choice, but if it is not available due to unexpected circumstances, Moto Rent and Ride reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle booked for a similar model (a refund for the cost difference will be made for a cheaper model). Moto Rent and Ride engages to provide the motorcycles in a good riding condition and if a motorcycle develops a fault during a tour, Moto Rent and Ride will make every effort to provide a replacement motorcycle (unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed). In case a participant rides his own motorcycle, no payment related to his motorcycle (insurance, gas, repairs, etc…) will be done by Moto Rent and Ride. Moto Rent and Ride works on a full to full fuel policy for all motorcycles and the customer is required to return the motorcycle with a full fuel tank (please note that fuel is not included in the cost of the packages we offer) All motorcycles are insured with Third party liability insurance. Moto Rent and Ride will require a deductible deposit of pre-set values at the start of each tour. This deposit will be held as a security deposit until the motorcycle and the provided gear is returned in the same condition as it was received at the time of rental, excluding mileage.

If the customer decides to cancel a confirmed reservation, the following conditions will apply: We recommend considering travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation. Moto Rent and Ride can decide to keep the advance payment if it has paid further invoices for booking the hotels for the respective tours or can transfer the booking for the following year. If, due to unexpected circumstances, Moto Rent and Ride is forced to cancel the tour, a full refund will be provided to the customer. Alternatively, the customer can re-book their place on another available tour. In all of these situations, Moto Rent and Ride will not refund any additional costs incurred by the customer, for example flight costs.

Moto Rent and Ride will do its best to keep the tour itineraries unchanged, but if there will occur extreme weather conditions or blocked roads by the authorities, the guides will assess the situation and make a decision on whether it would be safe to continue on that road and select an alternate route. If these cases are applicable in the the tour booked by the client, Moto Rent and Ride does not offer any compensation for alterations to the itinerary that are beyond its control.

In order to book a tour, the client must present the following documents and meet the following conditions during the tour: If the above-mentioned conditions are not met by the client, Moto Rent and Ride reserves the right to prevent the rider taking any further part in the tour. Any costs involved with recovery of the motorcycle will be paid by the client. Riders accept full responsibility for their own safety, therefore Moto Rent and Ride is not liable to compensate the client for any claim which arises from either poor rider abilities or failure to heed any warnings given by the guides.

We also recommend that every client make sure that they follow the traffic rules. The guides will make every person from the tour aware of the rules to be followed. All fines incurred by a motorcyclist while using a Moto Rent and Ride motorcycle are the sole responsibility of the client and will be paid by the client. An extra cost of 50 EUR will be also paid by the client to Moto Rent and Ride for solving the issue with the authorities.

Moto Rent and Ride will do its best to resolve any issues which occur during the tours and we advise the client to communicate to our guides if they are unhappy with any aspect of the tour. Any disputes that arise after the tour has completed must be notified in writing to Moto Rent and Ride within 30 days of the completion of the tour. In the event that a dispute involves legal representation, the laws of Romania will apply.
